Enjoy hand-building with clay in a relaxing and inspiring atmosphere! In this two-day class, we will use the slab method of hand building to create gorgeous wall sconces and table top planters for your succulents.
In the first class you will explore the endless possibilities of creating textures on a clay slab and then you’ll learn how to put it all together into a beautiful finished piece. The second class will be for glazing. You’ll learn how to apply the glaze and how to layer glazes for special effects.
Class time should be adequate for creating multiple pieces. These are perfect for gifts.
Pots will be fired and available for pick up the following week.
