DESCRIPTION:  \nThere are so many creative projects in process in the studio –  a variety of wall pieces\, tables\, mirrors\, mandalas\, and garden art pieces. This class is a combination of beginners as well as advanced students. On Tuesdays\, you may choose your own project or\, as always\, I have ideas for projects ready for you if you prefer. Not only will you leave with a wealth of information\, but you will also feel refreshed and renewed as you take tiny pieces and turn them into something beautiful. Mosaics has been found to be very therapeutic for the body\, mind and soul\, is a great stress reliever\, and students experience a deep sense of personal freedom and accomplishment in this process. The environment in the studio is very nurturing and there is a tremendous sense of comradery that has developed that you can be a part of. \nIt is recommended that students start with a small basic project to learn the techniques that will enable you to establish the foundation on which you will be able to build your expertise as a mosaic artist for both fun or profit. \nEmail me – marsha@marsharafter.com\, call\,  or text 530-277-5494 with questions. \n*The cost of $50.00 covers most materials. SUMMARY:Mosaic Hearts at the Center for Creative Renewal
DESCRIPTION:In this class you will be guided to complete an 8-10” heart from design to grout in one day and go home with a beautiful finished piece. Materials available to you will include glass gems\, stained glass\, mirrored glass\, and ceramic tiles in a rainbow of colors. Using weatherproof materials will allow you to hang your piece outside on a garden or patio wall or mount it on a stake for display in the garden. \nMaterials Fee Includes: Weatherproof substrate\, all glass and glass gems\, ceramic tiles\, adhesive\, grout\, and a hanger. Bring your own tools if you have them – including nippers\, glass cutter\, tweezers\, and running pliers. If you do not have them\, they will be provided for you. \nNo experience is necessary and beginners are welcome. \nFee: $200.00\nIncludes $50.00 Materials Fee \nCancellation Policy:\nCancellations are accepted up to 1 week prior to event.
